Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a specific slot that lets you carry pistols into an operation. Some people use it to help them achieve certain achievements, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make a gap closer. It's important to note that to choose the pistols for this slot, you need to click on the button to select the appropriate category, for example, alternate slot 2 machine guns. Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled items slot is a great feature that lets players bring weapons and tools into the game, but could be improved. It's currently shaped like pistols, which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slot can hold many different items, from subtle concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can also be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is a feature available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. The options for planning increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the perfect mission for every challenge.
Gear Slot
In the beginning of the game, players will find their gear slots get full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are cleared or more space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They give players more inventory space for completing challenges. Agency Pickups
As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your weapon or gear slot and take them out later.
These pickups are particularly useful if you have to pass through a frisk at the end of the course of your mission or if you're carrying a weapon that would otherwise cause suspicion. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.
This DLC also includes new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Then, go to the designated marker and spot a group when you arrive.
